MANANA
Georgian restaurant in Tashkent
«Manana» is a contemporary Georgian cuisine restaurant that conveys the warmth, joy, and hospitality of Georgia. While working on the project, we explored cultural references and experimented with materials, color, lighting, and accents to create an interior that feels lively, soulful, and modern. Carefully curated ethnic elements and expressive details — such as custom-made ceramics and vintage rugs — support the overall concept without overwhelming it. The space comes alive through pomegranate trees and warm, atmospheric lighting.

Special attention is given to details: a decorative wall made of terracotta ceramic blocks, live plants bearing pomegranates as a symbol of abundance and hospitality, and textiles featuring ethnic patterns. The lighting is warm and diffused —pendant lamps with soft shapes create an intimate, cozy ambiance. The furniture balances comfort and aesthetics: rounded tables, upholstered armchairs, and soft sofas designed for long, relaxed gatherings. Artistic panels and décor items with national motifs complete the image, transforming the restaurant into an atmospheric space filled with culture, warmth, and a sense of celebration.

Brick and wood used in the walls and furniture create a feeling of solidity and simplicity — like a well-crafted home built to last. Hand-applied textured plaster adds depth and softness; the walls are not perfectly smooth, but instead feel warm and authentic. Fired clay and handmade tiles evoke craftsmanship and a connection to tradition, without excessive decoration.

Natural textiles inspired by Georgian patterns make the space more intimate and welcoming, while sheepskins add tactile comfort and a sense of care for the guest. Here, materials serve the atmosphere rather than visual effect, creating a feeling of warmth, simplicity, and sincere hospitality. This is an interior where you want to linger, talk, share food, and feel truly welcome.
