CHIN-CHIN IASI
CHIN-CHIN IASI
Chin Chin is a chain of Asian restaurants known for its vibrant, industrial-style interiors and the Maneki-neko symbol. At the core of the concept is a fusion of urban neon aesthetics with the poetic language of Eastern symbols.

The central compositional element is a cherry blossom tree — an artificial structure with lush pink blooms that forms the heart of the space and evokes the feeling of an indoor garden. Beyond establishing a strong vertical axis, it gently balances the saturated lighting and color palette, becoming a visual “anchor” of the interior.

Lighting plays a key architectural role. Circular neon structures with typography, suspended above the cherry blossom, create a glowing canopy and set the rhythm of the space. Vivid shades of pink, blue, and violet shape a nocturnal, almost cinematic metropolitan atmosphere, referencing the streets of Tokyo and contemporary pop culture.

The furniture features soft, rounded forms upholstered in rich velvet textures, adding tactility and comfort to the interior. Minimalist tables balance the emotional intensity of the space, while carefully considered zoning ensures a sense of privacy without disrupting the overall composition.

Decorative elements — neon hieroglyphs, a Maneki-neko figure, and graphic wall illustrations — act as accents that reinforce the narrative and establish a recognizable identity for the venue. As a result, the interior is perceived as a vibrant, dynamic environment where design, light, and symbolism merge into a single atmospheric story, inviting guests not just to dine, but to immerse themselves in mood and culture.
